Trainings

“Palestinian Stories”

In collaboration with BADIL Resource Center for Palestinian Residency and Refugee Rights in Palestine, MASMF conducted a training in Saida for female trainees, which included skills in short story telling and mechanism of photography. MASMF’s training was simultaneously conducted  with the trainings held by Badil in Palestine that included trainees from historical Palestine, Gaza and the West Bank. The project aimed to enhance women’s presence in the public sphere and activate their participation in various aspects of life by highlighting the stories of refugee women. The project also aimed to enhance women’s capabilities in the field of media, storytelling and documentation.

“Transforming Living Histories: Oral History and Multimedia”

As a follow-up project of the former training Oral History A-Z “Multiple Narratives of the Lebanese Civil War” Forum ZFD and MASMF collaborated on giving this online training during the Covid-19 epidemic, which explored ways to work with the past through the power of oral history and contemporary media.

Oral History A-Z “Multiple Narratives of the Lebanese Civil War”
